hi

just wondering if anyone is up fro a meet up around these areas .we moved over from the uk in Oct 06 and have 2 kid 12,6 i am 29 and h/o is 32.we would love to meet up with people around here as we have found it hard to get to know people as we both work full time .so if anyone's up for it we can sort a date and time out but kids would have to come as well

We have been here since 04 i think, and homeless, but quite local.

Keep your eye on the meets section aswell, as we often have swarrays ( oweva ya spiel it :) )

Hi Frogboy we moved in Oct 05, and live on Halpine Lake estate. I am 34 and wife 39 soon. We have Luke aged 12. Great way to meet people on North Lakes is to get the kids involved in the local sports teams. We made good friends that way. Where are you from originally.

hopefully moving to north lakes in early july,got relatives over there on thompson close called lesbirels, ex army just about to join the police,will keep in touch ,just counting down the days

just putting the final things together for the big move:unsure:
have done a lot of homework on north lakes through relatiives there and thier website, just wondering what you thought of it there,we have 2 kids 16 and 12 all a bit apprehensive but up for it.read a few things about trouble on discovery drive but not sure if it is blown out of proportion,cant be any worse than here.brother in law likes it just wanted another view.

ye we r doing this at the moment my hubby has just signed on again to coach the under 8's at north lakes mustangs so just waiting on the;) season to start!!

Hi Frogboy, i also help coach the under 13s. We have some good friends from Wigan who live on Kurrajong circ on NL. We are Originally from Mansfield Notts. We also work full time, so pleasure time is very little, but made the most of. Did you get pm from C Clan. Will hopefully meet soon. Dale, Francine, Luke & Hendrix the rock star dog.

Helped coach for the last season. We won every game last season, but the first season didn't win 1. Complete turn around but great fun. Good for the 6returning kids from season 1.

Hi All,

My husband and I would love to meet up with other x - pats we are in Rothwell at the moment only been in Ozz 6 weeks. Just give us an invite n we'll bee there. Must worn you though we have 3 active children aged 15, 12, & 10.
