Default NOOSR skills assessment

Is there anybody out there who has applied for a skills assessment via NOOSR (teaching)?

If so how long did it take for you to receive your assessment back? We have been waiting 14 weeks today and are getting a bit downheartened.

It took three months for me to hear back. (I applied last March)
Not too long before you hear I am sure. Unfotunately they are one of the slowest to process, but at least the visas seem to be coming through a bit quicker now.

Unfortunately my wife's took nearly 6 months and they requested more information.
So hang in there.

we are also waiting for a decision from NOOSR and have been waiting for just over three months...would be interested to hear from anyone else going through this at the moment as its very frustrating! Still i suppose every day we wait is one day closer to getting the decision!

I think mine took about 4 months plus in the end. They requested more info re my degree and it took ages to get from the University - once that was returned it was very quickly completed.

If they have not asked for anything else I would not worry too much - I just think it's a bit of a slow process!

Just two days after posting our last message, we received news that NOOSR were happy with my skills...exactly three months after submitting our application.

One step closer to Australia!
