Default Non prescription medications?

I know the rules about what you can and cannot take through airport security. But what about non prescription meds? I would like to take paracetamol and travel sickness pills with me. Are they allowed through security? Or is it best to buy some on the other side in boots

Thanks Carol x

Hi Carol, yes you can take these with you. If you take any liquid meds they have to be under 100mls but tablet forms of meds anything is allowed. I had travel sickness pills and 3 packs of headache pills with me that you cant buy in adelaide when I travelled in December and never got anything said to me,

Yup, if you fly via Dubai, you need official doctors letters for the most basic of meds including Calpol. Simple answer - Don't use Emirates or anyone who stops at Dubai.
