No3 London Bus to Marble Arch gone missing .........
Last seen up at Mount Tambourine ...
Don't ask, I REALLY haven't a clue. I was (as ya do!) doing a little sight seeing and came across this.
Worthy of a picture I thought ...

Did make me wonder how much they must've paid to ship it over, not sure it would fit in a 20' container!

50 odd years ago they were as common as they are in the UK as they were mostly built here. They were pensioned off about 30+ years ago, around the same time as trams in Brisbane left service. Now used as mobile homes, promontional/advertising at major motorsport events, pub-crawl tours etc. Can still remember riding on on as a kid.

There are a couple in Bisvegas now - a 'comapny I know' has shipped a couple of old Routemasters out here. Looks like someone is getting ready to set up open top bus tours

Must've took a wrong turn down Regent Street I reckon.
