Talking No Yellow Envelope!

Hi everyone

No yellow envelope for us - we received notification of our PR Visa by e-mail today - Yippee!

Our CO e-mailed the letter, the original is being sent direct to London to marry up with our passports.

Not how we expected to hear going by what everyone says but hey we're not complaining!

Things are looking up now - 2 lots of viewers for our house tomorrow which is just on the market. Oz bound early May!

Bye for now

Hi Caroledouglas,

Thanks for the invite - we've arranged something with relatives but would def. be interested in the next one - do you post them on the site in advance?

Are there many from Glasgow?

Will do Bordy. Hubby is annoyed we are going to the miss the Oz Grand Prix!! Shame (!) ....just have to wait until next year....maybe the novelty will have worn off by then!

Will look out for Melbourne Meet dates after May then.

We've visted Melbourne twice before - our friends live in Gisborne. Any thoughts on Brighton (pricey?), Mornington (seen lots of threads on this before) and Geelong (also threads on this before), Torquay. We've been to Lorne (lovely but small and quiet).

Hubby is a plumber - I'm a Credit Manager (office based), daughter is 5. We were going to get her a paper round to bring in some extra cash! (only joking).
