Is No News Good News? really?
Hubbie applied to migrate to Oz. confirmation rec 21/3/02 - money taken 3/4/02, letter stating will hear by 21/3/03 - yes 2003. We went under skilled migration Visa class BN sublaass 136. we had the full pass marks for that time. all copy authenticated degrees qualifications etc posted out with application. Hubbie is a Civil Engineer (management) Just how long will it take - we have lodsa jobs available on internet but will not accept application without visa? anyone else in this boat or are we paddling alone?
Oh, and we have not been asked for Police checks or medicals yet! We were advised not to send them with our orig app |

Oh no, you're not alone ! Many people on this forum are experiencing the same. :)
Our application was lodged in feb 2002, no news since months, we're about to be kicked out of the new MODL list, and not even sure to still get the pass mark... But waiting, and hoping. You're lucky if you got a letter stating that you'll get some news in 2003. At least you have a deadline. Take care to jobs available on Internet, most of them are 'empty shells'. Good luck !!! |
