No forwarding address ???

No forwarding address ???
Hi guys
Not even anywhere near the packing stage but just got me thinking - what if you have not got a forwarding address? Can you post anything to a P/O box or something ? We are planning to find a house when we arrive??? Also -can you take an extra suitcase and pay the excess (so many things that we will need and not sure we can wait for them to follow)
I know I'm probably worry far too early - but need something to occupy my mind!
