Could someone please advice me!

I applied as Skilled independent (2231-19) to Adelaide on 28th May 2002 and waiting for an acknowledgement.
How long does it take for Adelaide to acknowledge ?
Should I condider contacting Adelaide about my application.

Presumably you sent it by Recorded or Registered Post?

Can you not check that it was delivered by contacting the Royal Mail or your equivalent?

I would expect acknowledgement any day now, my hubby sent our's off April 18, we received acknowledgement June 27.

Chatting to a few people 8 weeks or longer seems to be the norm.

Don't worry I'm sure you'll hear from them soon! By the way what's your profession? Hubbies a toolmaker and Adelaide have now asked if we want to be State Nominated (fast tracked)

we applied 01.06 and we also heard nothing. But I think that`s normal to wait 6-8
weeks. So it schould come the next weeks.

Do not worry , fnally you will get it. I sent my application in the end of March and
also have not got any feedback yet. I have checked --> some people get
acknowledgements a week or two after , some are not so lucky. It can last even few
months - this is what I heard from somebody on this forum- I think it even was
somebody from DIMA. Check if they charged your card . If they did it means they are
proceeding your application

Hello to everybody here!

Seem that I have the same problem with some of you. The difference is that I'm quite stressed about it! The reason is simply that I did not sent my IELTS results from the beginning and now I have them for a month but I don't dare sending them just like that, without having a reference of my application.

Maybe someone could advise?

I have already emailed to Adelaide, but no answer yet.

Certainly it seems some get turned around faster than others. We applied under
Skilled - Australian Sponsored:

Sent: 22/06/02 Adelaide received: 28/06/02 Acknowledgement dated: 9/07/02 Received by
us: 12/07/02

I have checked with my mail service and they confirmed the delivery of my application to Adelaide.
