A lot depends on the type of visa you are applying for some are taking longer, it also depends if your job is on the MODL.(luckily mine was)
We applied late Oct 2004 and my ack letter was dated Nov 3rd 2004,meds and pc requested Dec 8th and our visas granted Feb 11th 2005 all in all a little over 14 weeks I feel sorry for those who are pre july 2004 who are still waiting for their ack letters.

i am feeling little bit relief after reading all the views that i am not the only person waiting, before that my blood pressure was dropping and i was sure that when DIMIA will send me medical request i will not be able to get through.
