Nice coastal towns near Melbourne?
I am going to work in Melbourne for North Western Mental Health in January.
Can anyone give me some ideas of nice, not too expensive coastal towns/areas for me to live in on that side of Melbourne.
Don't really want to live anywhere too built up, but obviously will want good access to the hospitals (not sure which one yet - either Sunshine or Western probably) for those dreaded early shifts. I'll have a car.
Thanks, Cas.

Well I wouldn't suggest Sunshine as a place to live as its very industrial that side of the city. As for a coastal town when you look on the map the area you are looking at working is inland. The nearest places would be Geelong way I believe. But it would be a good hour to hour and a half drive to Sunshine from places like Queenscliffe or Ocean Grove.
I don't live that side and don't know it that well perhaps others know of places nearer than I have suggested.
