Nice areas in Sydney
Hello, I am fairly new to the Forum, wish we had found it earlier.
We have just received our Visa in the post the day before yesterday, and are midway through a weekend of celebrating.
We are hoping to head to Sydney in January 2003 permanantly but we have a month there in October just to check a few things out. Can anyone please advise areas for us to visit with a view to living there. We would like to live fairly close to the city but not in it. Maybe say a 30 - 45 minute train journey. We have some friends who live in Balmain so we will be staying there for a while but we hope to make this visit as productive as possible so any tips you have we would be most grateful.
