Hi everyone
I'm looking for anyone who could give me some information on nice areas outside Brisbane, hopefully about 30-45 mins outside Brisbane maybe round Gold Coast area ?
When I say "Nice" area we looking for areas with a low crime rate & no drugs as we are coming with my 8yr old.
Places with things to do, Junior football is a must & work for me an Electrician?
We hope to spend £150 000 or just over depending on work Preferably 4 Bed with pool in a good community

My personal recommendation would be the Mt. Tamborine area. Failing that, try an area between Ormeau to say, Nerang.

Definitely investigate the Mt. Tamborine area though.

Adding to yours - does anyone have info on Burleigh Heads/Miami area. Main thing we are looking for is good secondary school. There doesn't seem to be many, their websites all sound great but........they would wouldn't they.

If you mean 30-45 hours outside cbd, that wont get you to the gold coast area. We're about 30 mins (car) out of the city,and its another 45 mins from here to the gold coast. you'd struggle to get 4 beds + pool for 150,000 here,but wouldnt need too much more. Sorry, cant help with any other areas as I dont know them. I think you may struggle to find an area with no drug problem at all, we find there to be less crime here than we were used to in Birmingham, but depending where you're coming from it may be comparable.
