well finally spoke to them about this one and found that you can have an update on your contribtions and if you owe anything then you can pay it here in the uk
when you go if you are up to date with contributions then you can pay class 3 at 7 pounds a week until retirement age then claim the uk pension

also you can request a pensions forecast from them to see how much pension you will get
