last time i was at the trinity beach tavern i vowed never to eat there again. worst meal we have ever had. complained and got the shrug of the shoulders and what do you expect us to do about it. top dollar for shite food but nice setting. same with the boat club. used to go there regularly for many years then they expanded ( to meet growing demand). food and service fell faster than a pam am jet over lockerbie. its the perfect time of the year for the bbqs on the beach. get some numbers, everybody chuck in 10 bucks. ill kick back with a cold one whilst bix cooks the food. perfect. ive also lived here for over 5 years and have eaten in pretty much every restaurant on the northern beaches.
I didn't mention Trinity beach tavern..not my sort of place..I have eaten at L'Unico..Italian and it is great..but no good for kids as they will prob get bored..as I said before beach BBQ prob a good bet.. I eat BBQ pretty much most nights so suits me...

you will get a bad meal in there every now and again. my mate owns the place and the other one a bit further down. used to be called atlantis but i think its changed its name.

the police would be unlikely to stop people drinking responsibly. its there to stop teenagers getting paralytic and making an arse of themselves. we have never had a problem in 5 years having a few beers down the beach. we normally use kewarra or clifton though. a lower profile. i also think the tbh counts the good days and not the bad ones. they would soon loose count otherwise.
Looks like it aint gonna happen anyways as no one else has bothered to reply! Over to you Liz

Yeah you big show offs, just cause the weather is still hot enough for bbqs up there. Bix its a year exactly since we came, gone quick hasnt it. I am now 4 stone lighter than then. We shall be coming up again never fear, perhaps we can impose ourselves on you and enjoy a nice pizza which hopefully I will be able to eat this time. I am not usually that subdued.

it takes a long time to work a meet up. i try to start a thread about 2 months in advance. that way you have more chance of people seeing it and new pwople moving to the area.
if you set a date then add a list, im sure it will grow quicker.
