Re: Newman Western Australia
Hi there,
we travelled through Newman and stayed the night about four months ago on a tour through the WA outback. Newman is a typical mining town, full of fly in fly out workers. Cant say we liked it, its in the middle of nowhere and felt very rough. I guess it depends on what you like, it seemed the town was really trying to repair its image. My advice: go there, soak up the athmosphere, dont forget to stay a minimum of one friday night so you really get a feel of the place. Good luck!
