Default Newcastle/Durham meet up

Hi

Just wondered whether anyone would like to have a meet up in Newcastle or Durham area. I noticed there was a Newcastle thread a while ago but nothing seems to have come of it.

Hi Claire,

I have been on this site since beginning on Jan, and am still deciding whether to go it alone or with an agent, but I would be interested in a meet up
Hope there are others out there who would be interested too.

Am trying to think of somewhere between newcastle and durham but my brain seems not to be working very well

Where is everyone based, seem silly to meet between newcastle and durham if everyone is in newcastle!! Any suggestions would be good.

Child friendly?

Something north of Durham? Try:

http://www.brewersfayre.co.uk/Locati...l.aspx?id=3419

in the Arniston Centre, Pity Me

Something closer to Newcastle but still easyish to get to from the south? Try:

http://www.brewersfayre.co.uk/Locati...l.aspx?id=3416

just off the A1 near the Metrocentre.

This one?

Though be careful if there's a ferry due to depart: the place can get very busy, with a very long wait if you're eating.

Hello all ok well ill start with a date and place and see if anyone would be available..how about the pub at the royal quays in North shields. it has a little play area to keep the kids amused and is pretty central, being next to the tyne tunnel.
Any one available for a meet sunday 16th march say one o'clock?
