Newbie question (sorry!)
Hi everyone,
I have recently got an application in and have had the fee taken. I am going on Regional Sponsored Migration, Subclass 119 with a sponsoring relative in Oz. It may be a stupid question, but how long do you think it will take? Sorry if its a dull request, only the posts I have seen are frightening the hell out of me. Roger T |

You've got something wrong here. Subclass 119 is the Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme where a regional *employer* sponsors you. If you're sponsored by a relative in a regional area it's subclass 139. Totally different visa. >It may be a stupid question, but how long do you think it will take? You need to be more clear about precisely what you are applying for. Jeremy |

Re: Newbie question (sorry!)
If you're not been sponsored by an employer it certainly is wrong.
Ask them - maybe it's a typographical error. Re: Newbie question (sorry!)
Thanks Jeremy, I will.
By the way, does the fact that my credit card has been debited in Adelaide mean that my application is being dealt with there or all payments handled that way? Roger |
Re: Newbie question (sorry!)
Right,
Got it straightened out. Subclass 139 regional sponsored. Apparently the application has gone to Adelaide with a lodging date of 2/9/02. The wait begins...... |
