Newbie and in Perth WA
Hi everyone...
Am a new one here.
Living in Perth now after 2 years in london and 1.5 years in Sydney since 2000 .
Originally frae Glasgow but escaped in 98 for warmer climes down south.
Now as far south as I can go!!!!
Prefer Perth to Sydney, but only just, less people and easier to get around and more affordable property are a few plusses.

I spent 10 years in and around glasgow (lived in Paisley, Kelvinside, Kilmacolm and Uddingston and worked in Renfrew and the city centre) but left nearly 5 years ago to move to Germany, now in Perth since April. Where abouts in glasgow were you ????
As Simone says, we're hoping to have a get together on 25th July. If you and your family can manage along, we can have a good ol' gos aboot Glasgae. Who knows we might even have friends in common.

I have been aware of this site for a year now.
site has a few idiots dissing Oz...expats who couldnae hack it outside UK...A reason why i've stayed away from it. Instead been in PIP and Aussiemove since.
I lived in East Kilbride, then Mearns and Kelvinbridge before moving to England for work reasons.
Studied at Paisley...which must be the wettest spot in the world!!!!
Perth meet up on 25th July...could be up for that.
Have yet to meet fello scots here or other brits...only met aussies/kiwis/boks so far....

Went into a polytechnic , came out a University!!
