Newbie in need of driving info.
Hi Brisk here. Great forum, We (wife and 2 kids) have decided to leave good old blighty, again. I am a 40 year old HGV driver with various other plant licences. We visited Au in Feb last year, Brisbane, loved it and desperately wish to move over there.
What I can't seem to get at the moment is a job!! I just dont know where to start looking. Dont fancy going to an agency, we would prefer to keep the cost down and also do most of the leg work ourselves.
I was hoping that someone on here could lead me down the right path.
Cheers and thanks.

can't help with your question but i have moved it to the main Australia forum as it has better chance of being seen and answered here
good luck
edit: i've just realised an important factor... do you have a visa yet? or are you looking for sponsorship?

The mines are always looking for drivers. Check out Rio Tinto / Woodside / BHP
