Default New years eve in Perth

Looking at taking our two teenage boys to a new years eve do, are there any with fireworks and the likes which we can all turn up to north or south of the river?

Gloucester Park Raceway puts on the best and safest show for kids and parents alike . Don't know if you have to book - maybe just for the restaurant - but 20,000 are expected to roll up, so you'd need to get there early.
