We have heard a rumor that there is to be a new series starting on telly about people that have moved to Oz starting in Jan and televised in uk! Has anyone else heard this and do you know when and what chanel???

I'm sure I read somewhere one of BE's members was actually one of the families! Not sure what it's called or when it's on, hopefully will get an answer but could have done with putting it in another forum such as the Australia barbie forum, more general chat in there than immigration questions

Its due to start in January 2007 on BBC1 and is called "Wanted Down Under" was filmed in August/Sept this year ....and we were so close to getting a free flight!! Had the interviews but by the time they gave us the green light we had already booked our flights...before the could schedule it!!!! At least that was the excuse we were given!! They wanted people who are moving to Oz but have never been there and it going to take people over and show the difference in how there lives will be jobs and lifestyle etc etc .....Also heard C4 are planning a new series of No going back .....about time!! !!

Hi there... does anyone know if there was ever an "Update" on the Programme 'a New place Down Under' I've seen this programme ooodles of times, and was interested in a possibel update programme...
