New to Melbourne
 

Hi guys

We have just arrived and move to Richmond on Monday. Luckily we stayed with family for the last two weeks. Are there any get togethers, meet ups that we can tag along to for a few drinks and meet some of you guys... We are feeling a tad lonely now without all our friends and family from the uk.

Wow, I was only in Richmond earlier today :) How about a drink in the CBD Wednesday evening? I usually go for a drink on Wednesday's with my mate Mosh anyway, so I don't see why we can't shift to the CBD. :beer: Also I've got a couple of friends from England staying while they're on holiday, so that's already the makings of a meet-up/piss-up.

Hi all. Sorry to intrude, but I, too, have just moved to Melbourne (arrived in Oz 2 days ago) and would love to meet up with anyone from the boards. It all feels just a little bit strange at the moment! Feels sort of like home, but not home... Anyway, if anyone does fancy a catch up, that would be great... Anyone? (temporarily staying in South Yarra)

I know exactly how ya feel been here in Melbourne for a few weeks now all seems so strange speanding Christmas day on my own the first time in many moons a bit sad really an a bit of a Billy no mates to boot out here lol
