Hiya,

See you have booked your flights then! Have you sold the house then? Or are you just validating?

Ours went on the market today - just as Transco have decided they're going to dig up Old Turnpike!

Dave,
My brother lives in Wanneroo and Mum and Dad live in Kinross. So going to stay fairly near to them for a while. Were still hoping to sell the house before we go as well. Where are you heading? any time line

We are pre july 2004 applicants and have just had our meds,so the visa will hopefully be about 6 weeks. If we settle on Perth (not 100% yet) we are probebly going to head SOR.We liked an area called Secret harbour near Rockingham.

Market has been very bad in fareham. Hope you have more luck than we have. Not a bite. Still going in August for good. Hope it sells before we go. Good luck with your house sale. Hope Hubby comes out soon.

Good Luck with yours too. Hubby's terminal leave starts in October so not long now. We're going out in July (hopefully to validate all being well) and he's doing a couple of courses (paid for by the Navy) to become a Health and Safety officer in Queensland. Also got some work experience lined up which might lead to something.....

Not sure if we could afford to go out for good without selling the house first. Hubby will have his Navy pension and gratuity but most of our money is tied up in the house. We don't have a big mortgage but not sure if we could pay it for long on Aussie wages...Mind you, I am desperate to give my notice in at work and psychologically am geared up to leave January 2006, house sale or not!
