new here.
hey guys, I'm new to this site and have been reading some of your messages with interest.
This will be my 4th christmas in Oz and it couldn't get any better than this. Admittedly I spent my second one in hospital, but even that was ok.
I miss the usual from back home in the UK but I wouldn't change this for the world!

Hi Jack and welcome...i have just moved to Adelaide and i love it here. What area do you live? We have just rented a house in Glenelg.

I'll have to look that place up on my map...i still dont know many places.
We have just come form Auckland in NZ and theres a place there called one tree hill...trouble is, the one tree that was on it is no longer there as a Maori activist chopped it down...so i guess it should be renamed no tree hill!!!

I know Glenelg, the up and coming place to be if you like a busy place, lovely to visit but I prefer the quiet countryside.
My friend from the Uk loved Glenelg she thought OTH was too quiet, but it suits us old fogees!
