Re: NEW TO THE GOLD COAST
Right guys what about Saturday 25th August at 12pm we can meet at the same place that we had the last meet if that is good for everyone as it was good for those with kids and without. Will sit nearer the park this time tho as didn't speak to as many peeps as I'd have liked to due to being away at the park with youngest!
For those who don't know where we met it was at a great park area in Broadbeach near the beach to. There was barbies to.
I will try and find soapy's previos thread as he gave great directions to the place no time just now but if anyone else has time and can do it please do so.
Look forward to meeting you all.

Broadbeach, in Pratten park. Just at the bottom of Elizabeth Ave.
if your facing the water, its to the right of the surf club.
theres a couple of BBQs and a few seats, but it would be a lot better if people brought their own chairs.
Got this from Soapy's, didn't get the map though, but put the address into google maps if you need it!

Re: NEW TO THE GOLD COAST
Hi all,
Have just had notification our 457 visa has been granted
We are hoping to leave the UK around 10 September bound for somewhere near Robina I am a Registered Nurse, will be working at Gold Coast Hospital and my husband is a Paramedic working somewhere within south Gold Coast. We have three children 7, 6 and 3yrs and would welcome any tips/advice anyone can give us.
We need to work out which state schools would be better for the children, we are between Mudgeeraba, Robina and Varsity Lakes - anyone got any comments?

Re: NEW TO THE GOLD COAST
too many can make people start picking and choosing, but theres a huge gap between our last one and the one in October. so your timing is perfect.
we will try to make the meet if we get the chance, and thank you for deciding that the area needs another meet. a lot of people are just happy to turn up lol.
