New to this Game
Hi All,
I have recently found this site, just going through the process of applying for a Spouse Visa. Just waiting for my witness statements to come back and I ready to send in my application.
On one of the threads there was a reference to a TFN, can anyone fill me in on what this is?

TFN stands for Tax File Number and I believe it's the Ozzie equivalent of a Social Security Number but I'm sure someone will put me right if I'm wrong

A tax file number is more like you national insurance number. It is the number you give to employers to be able to claim the tax free allowance on your wage (the amount you can earn before paying tax)

As my old boss used to say 'I hate TLAs', TLA of course being Three Letter Acronym!
