Hi! I'm a refugee from the WTC attacks who's had the good fortune to fall in love with and become engaged to an Australian Permanent Resident. We wish to be married in six months in New York, but I hope to be living with him in Australia long before that, and we will make our home in Australia. I feel as though it will kill me to have to live without him until July.
I have no idea what type of Visa I should apply for. It seems that a holiday visa will get me into the country the quickest, but not necessarily allow me to stay there. May I apply for a fiancee visa if it is my intention to have the wedding ceremony in New York City?
Any help will be appreciated. I'm sorry if you've been over all this before, and I apologize in advance if I'm breaking any 'netiquette' rules, but I'm not very familiar with this type of forum. I'm also very upset since 9/11 as you can imagine and do not always think clearly. So, if you can help, I'll be grateful.

The quickest way to immigrate to Australia
Hi
The quickest way to immigrate to Australia is
using Investment-linked Business Immigration
Go to my site at for more info
http://home.iprimus.com.au/akm/
If I was you I would sell up and get out
of the US as soon a s possible for obvious
reasons.
If there is another severe incident
you will never get into any civilised country
due to the rush of expats going home and people
trying to emigrate.
I hope I am wrong but looking at the Middle East
it is slowly going belly up.
Regards
steve

Thanks, but I'm looking to start a family, not a business.
