New and which bank?
Hi,
I'm new - not written on here before and been in Oz for 4 months. I'm wondering if anyone knows which is the best bank to have an account with? I'm just wanting a normal, no frills, current account, nothing fancy. Do they all have a monthly charge? Also any cures for homesickness?!

We're with ANZ. $5 per month for unlimited transactions.
What part of Australia are you in and maybe we can get you set up for a meet up with some others to combat the homesickness. Although, it will probably get better with time.
