Agree 100% with what you are saying when i went home for 3 months I worked and paid my taxes for all intentional purposes I was a resident
sorry I should of made it clear!!

anyways to keep thread on track it was purely to help people in Australia who move here to be aware that under 18s are entitled to free dental healthcare.

NHS dentists were the cause of both OH and my dental problems. (I had my teeth sorted out between 2012 and 2013, for about $8k in all after rebates.) Wouldn't use them again.

Which is very useful, as the topic comes u so often that clearly many peple, like me, didn't know that was the case. One mum I wrk with was bemoaning the cost of getting her kids teeth fixed, I shall tell her that the treatment may well be free

Yes, NHS dentists do the bare minimum, basic treatment.

We went private about 2 years before we left. Much better.
