Anyone know what Nerang or Gaven is like? They are about 64k from Brisbane.

Nerang is very near to the main Gold Coast area (surfers etc)
My friend who lives in Benowa says it is a nice place to live

My wifeÕs cousin lives in Nerang we spent some time there this Easter. ItÕs
seems to be a nice place with a good mix of housing types. ItÕs a short journey to SurferÕs Paradise and within commuting distance to Brisbane. There is a train station there where you can get an express train to Brisbane.

Nerang seems ok just a typical inland suburb about 12 kms from the beaches (closest is Broadbeach one of the best), plenty of houseing around their and loads of new developments. Train station has large park and ride and about 1 hour express journey to Brisbane CBD. Trains run every 30 mnutes throughout the day.
Gold Coast motorway runs through Nerang which connects to Brisbane.
Never stopped their just pass through quite regularly.
