Aye, thats right Pin Oak Court. Just head straight down Toorak Road, then Burwood Road then hang a right somewhere down there when you get to Vermont. The studios are back over the other side of Burwood Road and they're also where Rove is filmed.
If you are heading down to Ramsey Street maybe go on a Monday or Thursday morning as that's when they are usually filming (apparently) on the street and you might bump into some of them. Really not worth doing the tour unless you want a photo with the street sign. |

Re: Neighbours
We drove to Pin Oak Court a few years ago (as you do), just to have a look. When we pulled into the road, there was an english family recreating the 'cricket match' from the opening titles (may not be in them now, I couldn't tell you). When they saw us I think they must have thought we lived there and quickly turned off the camera and looked all sheepish LOL :D. We wet ourselves laughing, and also had a good joke with them about it all.
What a brilliant home video it would have made though... neighbours, everybody needs good neighbours...... :D Graham |
Re: Neighbours
Yes it's very easy to drive yourself there. I did that last yr. I arrived same time as the 'tour bus' - still got the photos I wanted for the 'neighbours fans'.
It must drive the residents nuts having their houses photographed all day, no wonder they keep their curtains closed! |
Re: Neighbours
Everyone who has come to stay with us over the years has wanted to go visit Ramsay St so I musta been there half a dozen times now and I don't even watch the show! There are always lots of tourist there, it is hilarious the lengths some people will go to try and hide their interest in it :p
There are pics in my photoalbum if you are interested (the link is in my signature). |
