need car insurance- in oz
hi arrived last week, put deposit down for car...anyone recommend a car insurance company?

Mine is with Allianz. Adverts are annoying but prices are competitive.
House insurance is AAMI who might also be worth checking.
Unfortunately I have not been able to find any decent comparison websites over here.

Coles have just started doing car and home insurance, just done my car insurance and they absolutely wiped the floor with the others, I am talking $300 cheaper than Budget, and yes read the policy inclusions and it's all there.

Don't bother with the paperwork, it's more crap you'll have to bring with you!

Both our cars are insured with Allianz. Have made a couple of claims and everything was sorted out quickly to our satisfaction, not theirs.
We didn't need any evidence of NCB to get our policies and weren't asked to provide evidence of it when we claimed.
Don't bother with the paperwork, it's more crap you'll have to bring with you!

However, I doubt it! So maybe better to bring it for security rather than leave it, be asked for it and kick yourself that the added weight of a piece of A4 may actually have been worth it...
