Need advice, please - ref Aerospace demand
Hi there,
Does anyone know how is the aerospace sector in Australia? Does it has a high demand? Are there few jobs or in the contrary they are easy to find?
It is said that in Australia has a high demand of Engineers, but, it seems that there is more demand for other sectors like mining,.... rather than Aerospace, which is quite the opposite to here, in UK.
We are weighing the idea to move to OZ with the visa 457. However, we are a bit wary that with this visa and not the possibility of not many jobs around we could end up a bit trapped with the new company.
Hopefully anyone could give a bit on light on this!!

Boeing have a presence in Brisbane, doing what I am not sure. Virgin Blue are headquartered here. Are you looking for Aircraft Engineer work?

Yes, aircraft engineering work is suitable too!
I have seen nice jobs as stress engineer but loads in defense, but seems that without being citizen they are out of the picture....
