nambour?
hi all
hubby is in oz validating his visa now and looking for places for us all (3 kids & me) to go in August. Phone call today suggests he likes the look of nambour, near the sunshine coast. We dont want beach area.
Anyone know of the area ? Any info on it would be great

It's the home of the Big Pineapple.
I'm sure there is more to it that though! It's just that I remember seeing a Big Pineapple when we were driving around Qld and that's the one thing I remember about Nambour.
Seriously though go to www.google.co.uk and do a search on Nambour. There'll be tons of stuff on it.

i've already done a search, looked at housing, govt etc. I was hoping someone would give me more info on what it might be like to live there etc. tell me the sort of things, good or bad, that looking on the net doesnt tell you.
