hi all,

is it possible to transfer cash through NAB online banking to accounts in other banks (ie: ANZ) ? i can see an option saying "pay anyone" but was wondering if it was to anyone who has a account at NAB..

appreaciate answers from some one familiar with NAB internet banking

You should be able to I'm sure....look for Transfer money.

Funds Transfer tab

then to New Funds Transfer

then enter details in the Pay anyone area.

Don't have a NAB account but have others and so long as you as you have the sort code and account no of the person you want to pay you can transfer up to your limit. My default limit is $20,000 per day but you can get this raised if you want.

These transfers only work within Oz, you cannot transfer to a bank or person abroard unless you make special arrangerments.

PS

Oz banks DO NOT check the name on the account like they do in the uk so make a typing mistake in entering the acc no or sort code and your money can go to un intended parties. No idea about how you would go about recovering the money so BE CAREFULL
