Default Myer Christmas Parade Melbourne

Has anyone been to this in previous years ? Is it utter carnage ? Worth taking an 8 and 6 year old ? Will they actually see anything ?

Or should I stay home and put on Its a Wonderful Life, toast some Marshmallows and make Christmas cards instead ??

I'll be staying at home but then again I don't have kids, hate crowds and think it's far too early to even think about Christmas!

I see that you live in Beaumaris? Couple of mates are looking to rent a pad there, is it a nice area?
