My ISP overcharged me by $4.33
My ISP overcharged me by $4.33 in September
I told them that I wasn't really worried about a refund, but was concerned if it happened all the time, and got larger.
Their reply was:
But the real surprise that was not mentioned, and I have only just figured out today, was: They gave me a $25 goodwill credit !!
As you will guess, I am NOT with Telstra

The excess usage charge for your current plan type is in fact charged at the rate of $4.00/GB.
The newer plans are charged at the rate of $3.00/GB.
I have submitted a plan change, to rectify this situation for future invoices.
Generally, a fee of $25 is charged for this change. I have waived this fee for you today.

Whenever I complained about a late payment fee with Optus they always waived it. Even though my payment was actually late.

At least it was not thirty odd thousand over like a company here in Melbourne because someone had been hacking into their wireless internet.

Re: My ISP overcharged me by $4.33
My employer provided a Telstra broadband wireless internet modem for me as I am a home worker.
450 bucks for the modem.
Two weeks later another modem appeared with another $450 bill. This was returned.
Then I got a useage bill of 350 bucks for 2 months, followed by another for the second modem.
They credited me for the second bill and somehow I am $60 in credit.
No idea how that works!
Still that's Telstra for you
