Why? is that sad? If so then I need locking up... whilst waiting for my house to sell I have read Bill Brysons 'Down Under' 3 times 'A town like Alice' twice and 'Sins of the Brother' the story of Ivan Milat once.
Any other suggestions would be greatly received, apart from the obvious "get a life"

Sounds like you would enjoy the book 'Sins of the Brother' The definitive and true story of Ivan Milat and the backpacker murders. But again, dont read it if you dont want nightmares....

Yeah, it is spooky. My husband and I will swear blind that we saw the 'other' guy from the photofit in a white ute whilst on a remote path outside of Alice Springs in August 2002. Just watchig this programme has made us both glance uneasily at each other. At the time I was freaked out as he turned around and followed us along the path in his ute. My husband told me I was being silly but admitted once we were back at the hostel that he had been thinking the same thing as me but was just staying calm for my sake. eek:

My wild theory is the Bradley guy got rid of Falconio for her and in return she agreed to frame the other guy (the one with the long hair from the photofit that Bradley fell out with).

Ho-hum! Anyway, I bought my Eski at that Woolworths in Port Augusta!

Brrr. That still freaks me out.
We had just returned from Aus when all thet happened.
We drove an almost identical VW kombi and got followed on that same bit of road by two rough looking guys in an old saloon driving really strange way. At first we thought we were being a little paranoid but after a while we got really scared.
We used to drive at a steady 80-90k for economy and respect for a 30 year old engine so it was unusual to see any one behind us for long.
This was the only time on our trip that we didn't feel safe.

Scotty.

yes we reported it - but it was 100km to the next station so we went next morning.

The answer we got was "the guys round here don`t have alot to do - but at least they are looking"

we were only 22 - young and hardy and just shrugged it off really.

Funny though cause that night a mate (who slept in a swag) decided to tie it to the bumper of the van as he dind`nt want us to pi*s off with out him.

Good job I remembered he was there before we set off!
