Mullett Watch
I thought I better resurrect this thread given the importance of the matter.
Having visited Ballina (which is actually) a really nice place, I've gotta warn you about some serious Mullett offences going on there. I saw one bloke not only have a fantastic mullett, but he was also wearing those QLD rugby league shorts from the 80's which are effectively hot pants on a bloke. He complimented this with thongs and the obligatory sticking out belly.
On a more positive note, I reckon mulletts are down by upto fifty percent when I first came here 10 years ago. However, there's still alot of work to be done, which is why I'm calling for Commonwealth funding at this important stage.
Paul.

My favourite mullett of all time is probably Chris Waddle's (Footballer) from his Tottenham days, although Glenn Hoddle put up a good fight.

I agree - there are far less than 10 years ago, but a few too many still for my liking. Puts a spring in my step when I see a good one as I smirk my way down the street.
BTW Ballina - fab place. Broke my coccyx there 15 years ago. Fond memories of the local doctor laughing at my M & S knickers - the brute!

Ha ha! now this is a funny thread! Now Pat Sharp, hes 'da' man. :scared:
Mullets do seem to have been around for the last 6 months (my mate said he had a 'trendy' mullet - I told him the truth), but thank f*** people have realised that they actually look like twits.

Yep, Chris Waddle, circa "Diamond lights" era - shocking song and shocking mullet to boot. :scared:
Personally, I find the 'Mullet offenders' quite endearing really....
1) Offending Aussies can't be arsed to go the the barbers every few weeks and "get a do"...
2) They have absolutely no idea how bad their barnet is...
3) They wear it with (ahem...) pride...
4) They give us all a good giggle...
5) It saves us all from making the same 'bad hair day' mistake...
Word of warning...whatever the gladmags may say....THE MULLET IS NEVER GOING TO COME BACK INTO FASHION!!! :scared:
