Default Much difference in flights around June/July?

Wife's brother is getting married in the UK next year and as he knows we'll be in Melbourne by then he's curiously asked us what would be better for us, him getting married 29th June or 6th July. Now normally I wouldn't think there'd be much difference in a week, but I'm aware that the schools break up around this time, so could you guys who are already in Aus give me a bit of advice on that? Also what on average are economy return air fares from Melbourne to London at this time of year? (although of course a lot can happen in a year).

Thanks.

Don't forget the minor matter of the Olympic Games. July 27 to August 12

I'd go for the earlier date. If they could do earlier than that even better School hols in Vic start on the 29th June next year so you're more likely to find 'cheaper' flights if you can go earlier and come back straight after the wedding.

Can I just say what a very nice BiL you have. Can't think of many people who would fit their wedding around someone else's flight cost.
