Default MS Excel Technical Advice Please - Whole of Life Financial Model.

I would like to upload an MS Excell spreadsheet in an MS .zip file for you all to look at and hopefully criticise and modify. It's about looking at your whole of life finances (incomes, mortgages, taxes, savings, retirement etc).

I think many will find it both useful and interesting as it encapsulates simply many aspects everyday financial life.

It's not big but does contain VB code.

The problem is that it contains stuff which would identify me unambiguously. Specifically my name under "File", "Properties", "Statistics", "Last Saved by:".

Is there a way people can share this file without identifying themselves - eg scrubbing these identifiers?

Does this help?
Remove personal Information from a workbook

Applies to
Microsoft Excel 2002

When you save a workbook, personal information such as your name, company name, the name of the person who saved the workbook last, and more may be saved along with the workbook. To remove this information, do the following:

On the Tools menu, click Options, and click the Security tab.
Select the Remove personal information from this file on save check box.
Save the workbook.
The following personal information is removed from your document:

File properties: Author, Manager, Company, Last saved by
Name of the last person to unshare (or make exclusive) a shared workbook
Routing slips
The e-mail message header that's generated with the E-mail button
Names associated with a PivotTable report are changed to "Author"
Names associated with comments and scenarios are changed to "Author"
Paths associated with downloaded components and with smart tags
Name of the last person to open the workbook
Personal views
Notes

Personal information from shared workbooks is not removed. If you want to remove information from a shared workbook, you must first unshare it.
Workbooks that contain macros may contain additional personal information that cannot be removed by this procedure.
Failing that I would try to address and change the document properties from within VB.
