Mr Blair in WA
Has this great man taken over all of the planet , read and decide yourself?
BEING the true Fabian socialists they are, Geoff Gallop and Eric Ripper are determined to destroy the housing industry and make home ownership an impossibility. This agenda first became very clear when they tried to impose the $1 million premium property tax in October 2001, causing outrage throughout the entire community, not just the western suburbs as they had assumed.
These two, who still try to delude the public that they're heroes of the working class, are also doing their best to decimate small business by promoting the deregulation of shopping trading hours. Should they be successful, the beneficiaries will be retailers such as Coles-Myer and Woolworths and so long the rest.
The players in our two major political parties appear to be doing their level best to destroy the middle-working class by taxing it out of existence, while allowing the multinationals to get away with paying as little as possible.
Just ask some of the redundant workers, legacies of the Australian companies and manufacturing industries that have been taken over by foreign companies, how they feel about the policies of these two parties.
Dick Smith for governor-general? A position in Parliament more like it, backed up with more like him. We need politicians who have both the short and long-term interests of Australia and its people at heart and right now we can boast precious few.
