Hi,

I am actually moving to Sydney from Karachi on PR along with my wife, son (10 yrs old) and daughter (6 yrs old). We are also expecting a baby on this December. I would be flying for Sydney on last week of October.

The good part is I already have a job there. My current company has opened its office in Sydney and they are transferring me there. So, immediate job will not be a issue for me. I need your suggestion on following:

1. How much minimum salary should I demand from my current employer. I am assuming they would offer me between 90K to 100K including super. Will this be enough? I understand it depends on life style, I am just asking to get an idea.

2. Is there anything special should I keep in mind while negotiating my salary? Like any extra allowances which are usually offered in Sydney.

3. What should I bring with me in my luggage. My friend has suggested me to bring cloths and crockery. Do you have other suggestion on that.

4. I am thinking to rent a house when I come there. Also, soon after I arrive, I have an expense of my wife pregnancy. Then I have to setup home, furniture, car, schooling etc. etc. So, how much cash do you suggest should I bring with me. I understand more the better but what should be the minimum amount?

5. Will there be any special thing should I keep in my mind related to the hospitalization of my wife etc.

6. English of my children is not very good. What do you suggest should I do for their schooling. Should I send them in private school or any other idea?
