Moving to Point Cook, Melbourne

Hi Everyone!

I'm new here, we received our visa just before Christmas which was a pleasant surprise as we applied in mid-September and didn't think it'd be so quick but we're not complaining! We're planning to go to Point Cook, someone we know live there and they really recommended the area, we're attracted to the place because of the new schools as we have two children (10, 4), also the houses are cheaper compared to other areas.

Anyway, we are now looking for somewhere to set our foot in when we first arrive, like a guest house or budget hotel, just long enough until we found a house. But there doesn't seem to have that many choices, can anyone recommend somewhere please? a furnished self-catering would be ideal - Quest at Sanctuary Lake is one but the review we saw was not impressive and it's expensive.

Thanks for reading, looking forward to meeting new friends down under :)
