Moving to Perth soon
I am 32 lad moving to Perth shortly, I am hoping if someone can give me a bit of advice.
Where is the best place to live? I like to have a good social life, I also like to play rugby out there, any good rugby clubs in Perth. I am hoping it will be easy to find friends out there. Lee |

Hi Lee
How did you get on In Perth? Where about did you end up living? I'm moving there myself in about 3 weeks time and also have no idea where to live. How did you get on meeting people? I'm unsure whether to go into a hostel for a couple of weeks to look for somewhere more permenant. Any advice is welcome. Dave |

Re: Moving to Perth soon
25 mins on the traain to the city.
Scarborough is good for the beach, few pubs there, alot of British n irish, but shit for transport. Joondalup is where the more settled British live thats why Im moving there, got a few pubs n clubs. Leederville and Subiaco are really nice places to live in the city, very lively and good atmosphere and close to the city centre and everything really. Scarbrough and cottlsloe are the nicest beaches |

Re: Moving to Perth soon
I'm moving over to Perth on 14th Aug, am a bit older, early 40's. Am working in CBD, not sure where gonna live yet, but most likely will be NOR. Be good to meet up with any fellow new arrivals for a beer and a natter.
Cheers, Chrisall |
