Default moving to oz

HI every one i keep reading about people that have made the move to oz and finding it hard to settle and some even heading back to the uk.i spent ssome time in oz some years ago although only on a 12 month visa the first 3 months were the hardest but after that i didnt want to come home.i can only speak about our perssonal experiences but our life here is not so good we live in a small town in yorkshire and there is too much racial hatred and bullying amongst other things i wont go into too much detail but all i can say is that i am thankfull that i have been given this oppurtunity to emigrate to oz. i know some that have tried and failed that would give their right arm to be in our position so i for one am going to grasp this oppurtunity with both hands.so i do feel for those who are homesick but i feel that you have been given a once in a lifetime oppurtunity and i for one am going to take it.anybody else feel the same.cheers crozz.

Best way to settle into Aussie way of life is to get out of the house and mix with people. Once you make friends that is half the battle won. Speaking as someone who has lived in both countries if i had to choose then Australia would win every time.
You are going to Oz with the right attitude. Good luck.
