Moving Insurance
I am moving property tomorrow within the Brisbane area and want to insure my possession for the move.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You wouldn't believe how many people want a slice of your money when you say your moving.
I reckon with stamp duty and everything else your looking at 20k to move house in Queensland! F***in criminal mate.

I haven't mate, I am using Mini Movers to move some stuff and doing the rest myself.

What with stamp duty ,removals, container hire, tilt tray, swing lift, boxes and agents fees... im up for about 60k !!!

It is criminal hey, I a packed all myself and am moving the majority of the belongings.
I am paying reduced stamp as it is a first home so my fees are lower.
However aside from the stress, moving from the UK was much more enjoyable as far as experiences go, it is not something I wish to do very often.
In fact this move is going to be my last for a few years I hope.

You should use properly insured moving company and your belongings will be covered. Otherwise, check if your house/contents insurance covers during transit.
