My hubby and I are moving to Brisbane area in Sept, we are in our late twentys and trying to get ideas and advice on nice suburbs to consider. We are looking to start a family within 2 years and like the idea of living in a village set-up with local pubs, shops, schools and fitness gyms. Any ideas on villages within 20-30 miles of Brisbane City.

We don't want to live some where too far out or too quiet, trying to strike a nice balance! HELP....

We've shortlisted Ferny Grove and Samford at two candidates although will probably visit quite a few others during our validation trip in August.
