Default Moving from Brisbane

Bearing in mind that Brisbane is in the sub-tropical portion of Australia has has anyone ever moved from UK to Brisbane and found it too hot or humid too handle and subsequently moved state to get over this to settle in a cooler climate?

Or indeed has anyone moved from one place to another because it was not what they expected or wanted from Oz?

Not weather related but ABC was in Sydney, didn't like it, went back to UK, didn't like it, moved to Brisbane, loves it. Don't know of any (although there must be some) who moved because of weather.

I sure have!
Lived in Darwin for 3 years, Far North Q'land (just North of the Daintree River) for a year, Beerburrum (an hour's drive North of Brisbane) for 6 months and found the humidity too high for comfortable living for much of the year in all those places.
So it was back to WA for me, where humidity is a sometime problem, not a daily one.

We'd move if we could - I hate the extremes of humidity, very high and very low.I'd love to go further south to Vic or Tassie. Can't afford to though - tied by money, family and jobs.
