I've just had a quick look around. Driving Instructor (ANZSCO 451211) is only listed on the CSOL which would mean that you need sponsorship to apply for a visa with this occupation code. Unfortunately, it also is not on SA's SNOL which would mean that you cannot get state sponsorship to Adelaide. You could try looking for an employer to sponsor you in Adelaide, but I don't know how likely this is. Alternatively, you could look to see if any of the other states are sponsoring driving instructors. |

If looking at other areas the lists to check would be QLD, NSW, WA, NT, VIC, ACT, TAS (and I checked SA :) ) - google will help you find the lists |

Be prepared to change your lesson planning and formats. To fully integrate you'll need to be turning out students with a thorough understanding of tailgating, cutting up, not letting anybody merge into your lane ever and forget all you think you know regarding roundabouts:D

Will you not need to retrain to get an NVQ4 in driving instructing?

And to keep one eye on the speedometer. Well, of course. Speed is the only factor in any vehicular accident. S |
Re: moving to australia as a driving instructor
LOL had to laugh, driving instructors, there can't be any here.
Seriously it would save lives if Australia imported a few UK driving instructors. |
